Raphael Stern

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Geo- Engineering at the University of Minnesota. My research interests include topics related to transportation cyber-physical systems, specifically autonomous vehicles and how they will influence traffic flow, as well as how they can be used for traffic control and estimation.


I am currently seeking motivated undergraduate students interested in vehicle automation, urban sensing, and smart cities to join my lab for the summer of 2020.
